KODI & BDMV Format
« on: December 26, 2015, 11:21:36 PM »
Now that I figured out the Himedia wrapper problem, I have another question. Does anyone have a problem with a Bluray movie ripped playing BDMV formats in KODI 15.2?

Every BDMV format file I have on my external HDD will not play, it says "have no standard media file" Those are Bluray rips that have more than one file in the BDMV -> Stream directory
If my Bluray rip has only one M2TS file then it plays but if there are more then one M2TS file for the same movies in the directory then I get that message I mentioned.
If I rip the Bluray to ISO then the movie plays, as long as I put the file in the sub directory of the movie folder. It seems like a directory structure reading problem with BDMV formats?

Is this a KODI issue or a Himedia issue? OR am I doing something wrong?

I'd prefer to rip in BDMV since the ripping process is faster on my computer.

Just have some issue before with playback using special character in the folder name (in my case i have # to use for folder name which have issue when playback). Once i renamed it BDMV played happily with Himediawrapper
