Zidoo UHD2000 Sata drive set up
« on: June 09, 2020, 11:56:22 AM »
Just received my 12tb Seagate 3.5" Sata drive to use in my new Zidoo uhd2000 player. I'm not very tech savvy but I can seem to locate the drive in HDD bay 1 from the menu? Think I read somewhere that you need to format the drive first, but not having a PC where I can do this I'm worried that I won't be able to use the extra 12tb space. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

The drive needs to be pre-formatted. UHD2000 cannot format the drive itself.

Standard Windows format is fine (GPT & NTFS).

Partition table should be GPT and partition type can be either NTFS, exFAT, or EXT 2/3/4.
