Q5Pro no longer sees the SD card
« on: April 06, 2020, 05:48:03 PM »
Good evening, I can no longer see the 32 GB external memory card, I formatted it again in NTFS, but when I go to the advanced settings> Default storage equipment I only see sdcard (default) and no longer the external one.
When I connect via SAMBA in the path "\\ 192.168.1.xxx \ share \ sdcard", I can access the "sdcard" folder.
This is very strange that HiMedia does not see it
How can I solve it?
Thanks

Do you want to use the SD card as internal storage?

I've always used it on other HiMedia Q10 pro too,
Now it seems that it works, I inserted and restarted it several times now I can see it.
I don't understand why he couldn't see it, the card is always the same.

For me on Q10Pro working 32GB microSD+Adapter

Why (Default) sdcard is not active?
Connect USB pen/HDD then try to play with settings to get (Default) sdcard.
or try adb shell
Code: [Select]
adb connect <ip_player>
adb shell getprop persist.sys.primary.path
adb shell setprop persist.sys.primary.path sda1
adb reboot
Set to EX_SDCARD
adb shell setprop persist.sys.primary.path mmcblk1p1

If not solve try to install OFW v2.0.3 then update to your favorite once.
Stay home, stay safe.

The settings were set to enable the SD card until yesterday, today turning on the HiMedia the external SD card disappeared in the settings.
Meanwhile, thank you for the information, I try to do the procedure you suggested, otherwise I can also try with another SD card.
Here in Italy I have been at home for 2 months, I hope this bad moment will go away.
