How can i root & OC my HiMedia?

Id like to prove some overclocking to cpu on my HiMedia, but i read it must be rooted.

What progs can i use to make root, and what prog can i use for overclocking?  THX

SoC can't be overclock, install MadAndron custom then will get root and SoC clock at 1.6GHz.

THX  PcCristie, is 1.6Ghz the stock frecuency?  ... i dont know where now, i read the the stock was 1.2Ghz for the CPU. If it is so, 1.6Ghz will be an improvement.
I remember have read this CPU can go to 2.0Ghz, of course with cooling...    THX again.

OK, have installed MadAndron custom v.1.6, and have regulary freezes, cant make Shortcut in Mediaplayer, have freeze before i have put in all the data for shortcut, have proveed several times and day, reinstalling again, and every time same problem. And yes after install i wait 30minutes without doing nothing to let time all the apps initiales. But same problem, again and again, total freezes i must disconnect HiMedia Q10pro.
My change is i have installed spanish language and delete the russian one. May be this is the problem? Do i need to let the russian installed for something?   THX

The MadAndron custom 1.4, dont have nothing of this problems, so i will stay with the v.1.4.  ...
