Youtube Update

Just wondering if any other user's of the Q10 have had issues with Youtube my set says their is an up-date available, tries to download then comes up with the the message that this installation of youtube android tv is not compatible with your device..
Have tried updating to latest firmware .

Install the latest Youtube version from APKmirror:

Will the app auto update if installed this way? (I guess not.) And if not, is there any other way/workaround to make it so?

In my case it did update but I'm running the Android TV version of the firmware that has the TV version of the Play store, I'm not sure if it was the app itself or the playstore that updated it.

I guess in most of the cases if you install an app from PlayStore, than it will update through PlayStore. Specially if the app is made by Google. So the question is still open.

I know that i.e. Smart YouTube can update by itself.

I guess will check out by myself installing an earlier version of ATV YT from apk and see what happens.
