Q10 Pro supports only SMB v1. This needs to be enabled in recent versions of Windows. See here: https://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2536.0

You could also try setting a fixed IP for the Samba share and entering it's details directly in the Q10 Pro (so bypassing SMB server search).

The problem is with the Q10 mediabox, I tried every firmware and the problem was not solved? I did checked it, I still have SMB 1 client and server installed (no problems before)

And with my NIVIDIA TV SHIELD i can reach my share!!!!!!!

So the problem has to do with HIMEDIA Q10 or the with the chip

Did you look at the link I posted earlier and follow the instructions for enabling SMB v1? Same info here: https://support.zyxel.eu/hc/en-us/articles/360005563933-Reactivate-SMBv1-support-for-NAS-devices-on-Windows-10

I am 99% sure the problem is the disabled SMB v1 server on Windows 10. There is no general problem with SMB access on any HiMedia firmware.

Problem persists? Windows 10 64 bit reinstalled, enabling SMB v1.Diverse images installed. Problem occurred after installation 2.1.4

Modem restart, replace Lan cables

Keep having the problem that I cannot access my shares? I can access them via the app ES file explore

I also have a Nvidia TV shield and can I access the shares there?

I really need help? I bought the himedia Q10 in the Netherlands, but the seller is bankrupt and nobody can make or exchange it?

I have answered your email with the below:

Quote
I can only point you to my previous answers. There is no general problem accessing SMB shares on Q10 Pro. If there was then it would be all over the forums. I think the problem must be one of two things: 1. SMB v1 incorrectly setup on Windows 10 2. A problem with SMB share discovery which would be resolved by accessing the share directly by IP address.

There's nothing more I can do from here to help. I am sorry that the retailer you bought the box from in the Netherlands no longer exists.

Well, when I try ti add fixed IP for  the Samba share I receive error: "new server error" Any hint how to add the server with fixed IP ?
