Aspect Ratio can't be saved
« on: August 02, 2019, 11:56:05 PM »
Hello,

i wonder if there is a way on Z9S to save the settings for aspect ratio - really anoying when you watch 4:3 movies and it keep jumping back to "fit" mode. i can't find any option to save let's say to "full" or "16:9"

Thank you

Testing with fw 2.2.96 this appears to be fixed. I can watch a movie, switch to 4:3 mode then when returning to the movie it starts at 4:3. This survives both exiting the video player and rebooting the box.

For my new Z10 settings can't be saved. After every exit and every reboot I have to set it again in the video settings. This problem persisting with the subtitle settings too.

EDIT: New finding; I have disable the resume function with no joy. I have discovered that the player remembers settings for EVERY VIDEO INDIVIDUALLY. So you have to open a video, set aspect ratio and subtitle and then you are all set JUST for that video. Think about watching a 8 season TV show :O

Re installed the whole thing with recovery etc. Installed latest fw but the aspect ratio jumps back to fit everytime. This is very annoying. Any settings file I can touch?
