Search option in Explorer !?

Why is there no search function in Explorer. I think that's a must or not?

There is search in the Home Theatre app and in the Music Player app.

Full search in the Media Center app would be good, but I don't think the app was conceived as a fully featured file explorer. There are many Android file explorer apps that do have search and would be better for more complex applications.

Saying that, I'll mention it to Zidoo as a feature request.

Your hint is nothing new to me. I also knew that and also used for films etc. But what concerns my opinion and my basic understanding, I can not understand it - if already the "basic equipment" is available to me with an additional installed app to help. For me, that really does not make much sense. It is possible that is beyond question. The additional name "file manager" is then somewhat risky in comparison. If you have several thousand files, a search function is nothing out of the ordinary, right?
