My advice would be to install 1.7.8 according to emergency update procedure (https://www.zidoo.tv/Support/support_guide/guide_target/+NGNMlfRy9Xeq7k9e[ld]3ulg==.html) then install 2.2.82.

BD ISO menu support is the same for 2.2.82 as previous firmwares.

Strange! The same was reported on the Zidoo forum and also there specifically for Z10.

I know only Z10 to deviate from Z9S for the front display handling and fan control.

Besides the box there's no differences between Z9s and Z10.

I pretty sure that I'm doing the procedures correctly, but when I select a ISO file it gives me the option to choose between "Bluray Menu" or "Play video". I choose the first option but the file is played only as a video. Is there an apk to reinstall  the native video player again?

I'm not sure that it's possible to reinstall just Zidoo video player. We certainly don't have a readily available apk.

There is a similar thread on the Zidoo forum about this (possibly same people posting?) where a user says it's solved by flashing 1.7.8 then installing 2.2.82 several times. 1.7.8 should completely wipe your box, if this is done correctly I see no reason why 2.2.82 should not work as previous firmwares for BD-ISO menus.
