When you installed 2.1.4 Did you do a Dirty or Clean install ?

Dirty install is when running going to Settings-Upgrade.

Clean install is Unplug power, Insert Paperclip In Reset Hole Next To Power plug, Plug in power and continue to hold reset until upgrade process starts.

Dirty install is not recommended !

Just experienced a total freeze while tried to play a very basic and non resource demanding game, officially installed from Store, while using HiControl from a Tablet . Only the plug-out-plug-in method helped.

HiControl also seems to behave very unpredictably insufficient all the time. Sometimes I need to reboot the Tablet or the Box to get it working.

OFW 2.1.1.

I just tested Real Racing 3 using HiControl on my phone and it worked perfectly with CFW 2.1.4

Cheers guys, I also get freezes/crashes a lot on cfw 214, this hardly happened on cfw211. I have disabled battery optimisation on these apps that crashes i.e vpnapp, kodi and flud but still crashes after a while.

My theory is cfw214 uses more RAM than cfw211 thus lead to overheat of the box and hence app freezes/crashes..

What do you guys think?

On another note, if I were to go back to cfw211, how can I get media server in kodi like in cfw214?

And finally does anyone know how to access the folders in Android/data/,,, in the MediaCenter?

Many thanks.

Once the HiContol is up and working it's fine, but sometimes it can't even connect as it doesn't see the Box on the LAN, only a full rebooting helps.

OP: KODI works fine as a Media Center on any FW.  And install a file manager like Total Commander from the PlayStore to access those folders.

Playing 3d ISO is not option in total Commander, only mediacenter can and no access to Android/data/... Folders

Why do you store iso files in the Android/data folder anyway?

That's where my downloads are.

I found a solution; use the 'file folder' app.

Many thanks.
