Egreat A11 Passthrough issues

Hello everyone,

I ve recently bought the A11. It is updated, Hdmi main to AVR Denon x3300w.
I get big issues with passthrough option. It seems that egreat sends a pcm stereo signal instead of raw bitstream to the AVR which result in a big pink noise through the speakers...I tried everything : hdmi out lpcm or raw, deactivated each single compatibility setting of the AVR, DTS and Dolby TrueHD compatibility mode, factory reset, etc .. etc... The passthrough does not work...even for a DVD clone...I get that weird and horrible pink noise sound and a pcm stereo signal...





Very disappointed.

Any solution from egreat team?

Same problem here. The only difference is that I get no sound, no pink noise, just silence. My Onkyo sound processor receive PCM 2.0 instead of passthrough bitstream.
In the past it worked fine, it seems that something happened with the latest update maybe.

I am also very disappointed, especially because I get no reply from Egreat.

You Never will Egreat live in Cloud Cuckoo Land and do not give a toss The only way you might get help is go to there face book page and try there  :(

Very strange. I would say the units are faulty then. My A11 is connected to an Onkyo too and using HDMI  RAW setting it passes all DTS, DD and PCM formats as it should. I would contact the seller to replace a faulty box. To exclude a corruption of the player memory/settings do a factory reset first if that does not help it is time for an RMA procedure.

PCM 48K is standard Android audio which one typically gets for all music PCM formats using standard Android drivers.

thanks for your message. I'm trying to get in touch with eGreat but their answers are after a week each time and only using "automatic" responses.
Their customer service is so bad.

What firmware are you running to get anything other than raw passthrough from a11?

A11 does pass all hd-audio raw, there shouldn't be a problem.
