USB Audio Output WITHOUT resampling possible?
« on: March 10, 2019, 06:46:55 PM »
Hello all,
A question about audio output please.

I have an Nvidia Shield, but it UPSAMPLES all audio to 192khz, which causes intermittent popping in the audio every 1 - 3 minutes. My cheap android box outputs 44.1khz and there is no such problem.

I was considering buying this box, but I don't know whether this box UPSAMPLES the audio or just outputs at the frequency of the file (passthrough)

"audio passthrough in standard Kodi..."

Is a feature, so does that mean the box will output 44.1khz if I play 44.1khz files in Kodi?

Thanks
Mark.

CD audio at 44.1kHz is output at 48kHz on Himedia. That goes for Himedia player or Kodi.

The audio passthrough quotes from our site relates to HD-Audio in a video container (DTS/Dolby).
