Hi, You don't need a seperate app to autostart Kodi. Just go to 'My Apps' (on home screen), highlight Kodi then use the menu button on the remote control and choose kodi to autostart. Simples.  :)

Cool. I assume quitting Kodi takes you back to Android launcher? If not, may be a good idea to add a shortcut to HiMedia's Android settings app within Kodi.

Kodi exit button takes you back to Himedia launcher using the Himedia app menu method.

Using Autostart and Stay, Kodi relaunches near immediately on exit. I found it was possible with repeated pressed of the home button to navigate to Autostart and stay settings menu and disable Kodi, but it's not easy.

So the way to go is the one from Motahed then...

Depends what you want. Some people will want Kodi to relaunch if accidentally exited by pressing home button on remote.

Then, either what Futeko suggested (Autostart and Stay!), or this (what I use).

You're right, the launcher does show for a couple of seconds before Kodi appears (although I don't consider that to be much of a problem). This has only started happening with the latest 3x firmwares, with the 1x firmwares I never used to see the Launcher at all  ???
