Film don't start at the begin
« on: March 06, 2019, 03:53:57 PM »
Hi
I have a Q10 Pro ( Euro version ) and with the latest firmware.
My home made movies wont start at the beginning, but every time almost at the end of the film, and that's  annoying and isn't very "professional" looking.
Is there a setting for this ?
Thx
Ed

Have you tried another player like VLC or Kodi internal player?

So they didn't play at all, or just partially?

You can Copy&Paste here the media info from one of the videos. (Use a PC with MPCHC->File->Properties->Media Info). Maybe you should try to change some codec or format settings for your recordings.

You can also try MX Player and Archos Player on the Box.

I run CFW and have never had this experience. All my movies are either blu-ray rips to MKV or 3D rips as ISO. Have only ever run CFW since getting my Q10 pros.

I don't think that CFW would solve this at all... It uses the same HiMedai Player found in OFWs.

What's supposedly the problem here is the unique codec format or settings that is used by the video recorder, which with HiMedia has troubles to decode. I've already suggested options to try regarding.
