Media center and other video software has lagging and oos issues

Just got himedia H8 2gb ram model (Nov firmware) but having video playback issues from usb drive. Majority of my 1080p mkv movies have lagging / stuttering or pixelation or out-of-sync issues, some worse than the other and some are sporadic. No such issues from my old wdtv live players.

I've been trying it from media center or other downloaded android players eg mx player, rock player, vlc, bs player, etc. Noticed the least issues (but still evident) is from BS player. HimediaVideoPlayer version is 1.0.3_HMD_1012_Release.

Dude, you should probally think about removing the Complete file name of your "example"-File....

I suggest first installing the latest firmware.

Our 1.0.7 FINAL firmware has HimediaVideoPlayer version '1.0.3_HMD_1104_Release', so the firmware you're running is out of date.

Himediaplayer or the pre-installed custom Kodi will give best performance so I suggest using them in preference to any other video players (MX, BS, VLC etc).

You should have no problems playing those files you give mediainfo details for with latest firmware.

During the weekend I made some tests with MKV files in Kodi.
With some movies I had an unsmooth replay and some lip-synch issues with the actual FW.
Also the HiMedia player is more worse than the previous FW. A lot of movies are continuously unsmooth (no 42s micro-stutter).
There is still some work to to for HiMedia development.

When I play the movies with my old player everything looks fine.
