FIRMWARE Q5

Hello,

I would like to install an update of my firmware/Himedia Q5 pro.

I downloaded several firmware versions from this forum  and installed and  tried them also...........however iptv pvr simple client on the kodi version crashed kodi permanemtly in each firmware version  i tried  ....

Originally the firmware / android version was jarvis 17.0

So maybe version  17.4  would be an option......

You can install Kodi 17 on any version of HiMedia firmware.

So I recommend installing latest 2.1.1 firmware then downgrading Kodi to whatever version works with the IPTV client you use.

Uninstall pre-installed Kodi app first then install one of these old Kodi versions for ARM32: https://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/old/
