Root or not root...

Can we root our H8?
Why i ask it - i have 4 Kodi backups on internalSD.They are pretty big and and i don't need 2.
But if i try to delete those 2 folders, i get an error message, that i don't have root (tried it with ESFile explorer,TotalCommander).
Or is here another way to delete those some folders from internal SD card?
