Is there a difference between Q5 and Q10 apart from internal drive?

1. Yes. Samba, NFS, DLNA, uPnP..
2. If you wanted to submit yourself to the devil either Q5 or Q10 would be a capable host.

There are a few minor differences in ports and casing between Q5 and Q10 but the internal hardware is identical in terms of chipset, performance, RAM, flash.

That there are more problems with Q10 relates to the internal HDD. People have problems/questions about correct format and type. Any SATA drive (SATA2) up to 6TB, a run-cool type drive is best, and format should be NTFS or EXT2.
