Is Futeko also planning to include these new upgraded models?

The Z9S and Z10 are getting the  RTD1296 SOC of the X20/X20-Pro with all its goodies included. So the better Wi-Fi plus all I/O features and ports.  I am a bit wondering where these ports all go on a Z9S model?

The new models will be running Android 7 from the factory. Android N was already announced for X20/X20-Pro models.

HDMI input is not a feature for Z9S or Z10s as far as I know.

HDMI In is a HW feature according the specs but recording from it probably not. I expect them to do something with PIP using Android N at least.
Started a thread on the Zidoo forum about that. It was answered as "Under consideration for a future upgrade"!

My opinion is that the HDMI in port on X20/X20 Pro and the new models is physically connected but either they have genuine legal reasons not to enable it (plausible, particularly for import to e.g. USA) or that they are unable to enable it due to a bug/problem in firmware (less plausible because the chipset is an evolution from RTD1295). Zidoo have told me that the reason is legal.

We won't be advertising HDMI input as a feature until it works (obviously) and I will be advising Zidoo not to mention it in any promo material.

Zidoo say about a month before stock ships, so my best estimate would be late October for us having stock. When we have more info (including photos) we will start taking pre-orders.

RAW SACD Passthrough (=DSD including MCH 5.1) seems finally to be confirmed for ZidooMusic Player 3.0 which will be highly appreciated by many including myself. Some may buy these boxes for the new Music Player alone.
I really love some HQ MCH audio recordings in DTS-CD or SACD formats. These sound truly great. With essential CUE sheet support obviously (working with Music Player 2.0 already).

I have my doubts this will be coming to current RTD1295 based players too as it could be a feature requiring an Android 7 + RTD1296 platform?

Have no RAW SACD Passthrough yet. but we are trying to make it happen. Native DSD via USB or HDMI out. I'm not sure it will be successful

Here some more  information on the revamped boxes: They confirmed both include Dual SATA , 4x USB Host ports (2x USB2 front and 2x USB3 side) connectors plus the latest generation BT and Wi-Fi.
But there is no USB3c port like on X20. I am also missing an upgrade of the supplied PSU's to 12V 4A as the the new units support Dual SATA HDD (including powering those).

Specifically the Z10 looks nice with 2x USB on the front too. The Z9S is a bit crowded with connectors on all sides except the front.

Here all connectors on 3 sides are clearly visible. No surprises.

Used the zidoo forum to keep the original quality of all pictures.

Confirmed: Indeed antennas are NOT detachable but a lot shorter so less disturbing.

FW v1.7.7 which is Android 7.1.1 based with ZidooMusic Player 2.0  bundled. It is possible to upgrade to ZidooMusic player 3.0 version using the APK posted for X9S FW 2.1.12 version (very similar functionally). It is safe to do so the scraper won't work properly, but online lyrics do. The core player is far more stable but CUE-sheets don't work yet
