You can also buy a variant of MX3 from here: Futeko. They are mostly just rebranded anyways and not exactly different products.  There may be some knockoffs as well, so be aware, read the user feedbacks on the shop product page as well.  Therese's also the T3 which is the "all IR programmable" "variant of the MX3.

There are T3's on Amazon and on Ali. One just must beware to choose the ENG version. (Too bad that Ali doesn't have Pay Pal insurance, thus sound risky a bit.)

I apologize for the trivial question, but I'm not sure which procedure to perform.
Do I need to install the HiControl app to use any Android smartphone as a remote control?
I ask this because I went to the playstore, but I can not find it to install it.
