Enjoy Kodi 17.x/18.0 with joystick support enable/disable.

I've installed the patch on Kodi 18.0 beta 3 nightly but I'm not sure what is supposed to happen? Does the code just run in the background or is there a settings option?

I'm assuming the joystick will be needed with Kodi 18's new "Games" section??

No running in background just modification to avoid Kodi to recognize IR Remote as joystick controller.

In Beta 3, AC3 5.1 Passthrough works in Kodi Videoplayer. The "others" don't sound.

Let's push a bit users to test Kodi 18.0 Beta4 and welcome with feedback.
For me Kodi 18.0 Beta4 is pretty well integrate with HiMedia wrapper so I made CFW v2.1.0[1.2] with Kodi 18.0 Beta4,  pre-set settings, repository and add-on:
- YouTube, Plex, Yahoo Whether, Frequency Switcher, Opensubtitles.
- Repository looun --> Frequency Switcher,
- Repository  guilouz and rector.stuff --> skin estuary mod v2 (optional)
Recommended install is with paper clip, process instruction post many times on this forum.

For who is already on CFW v2.1.0[1.2] can do dirty install.
0. Backup, Backup, Backup, all sensitive data and .kodi folder /sdcard/Android/data\org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi
1. Uninstall Kodi app. ALL yours Kodi data will be lost restore late some of them from backup if need it.
2. Rename specific downloaded CFW file (...)update&themed&Kodi18.0[Beta4][v1.2](...) to update.zip
3. Install via Menu USB update Settings/Upgrade/Local Upgrade/Usb...
4. Enjoy Kodi 18.0 Beta4 with HiMedia wrapper.
5. If miss Kodi 17.6 estuary mod skin just go to add-on and install from pre-install repository of guilouz estuary mod v2.
 
Note: - Upgrade to nightlies build can be done if you wish/test.

Upgrading from 3 to 4, Hi-Frequency Switcher doesn't change frame rate in Kodi Videoplayer.
Maybe do I have to uninstall and reinstall it?

What is a source of video?
local/smb/nfs need to be OK on Hi-Frequency Switcher 3.6.1.
For http/https streaming Kodi 18.0 beta 4 have something change witch I will try fixed in near future Hi-Frequency Switcher version.

Source is SMB.
It writes the frame rate change in the lower right side but TV stays at 50 Hz ( as in the setting of Q10 Pro.
Anyway I'm using standard firmware 2.0.9

Did a fresh install, this is the first Leia version that works on Q10 pro.

• no crash when migrating library from 17 to 18
  
• no crash when using external player

Otherwise smooth user experience, much leaner than official fw.

With the previous version passthrough with streams did not work well, among other things no sound with Dolby Digital Plus and wavy sound with AAC?

hi to all, I installed 2.1.0 leia beta 4, but I do not understand why the proportions of 720p videos with the wrapper are wrong, as if they were lengthened. Does anyone have any idea why and a solution ?. Thanks in advance
