It's 32 bit that you have to install

@LeoeL
Support frame rate change for HiSilicon SoC in Kodi not have connection with HiMedia.
It's time of Kodi developer to stop written if condition in they code and accept patch only for Nvidia Shield TV.

If someone get this box for Kodi compatibility is was wrong choice.
HiMedia/Egreat/Dinobot box have other advantage for witch users buying.

I would imagine that, for the majority of people, the main reason they purchased was as a base for Kodi.

It's time HiMedia builds a Kodi version for this SoC.

The Himedia Q10 comes with both MediaCenter and Movie Bar. You could also install and try the Archos Video Player. However, none of these can match the versatility and flexibility of Kodi.

Kodi is not perfect, but it's the best that's available. They will sort out the problems ... eventually  ;)!

Furthermore, if my memory serves me well, I recall that the Himedia advertising for this box actively promoted it as the best solution for Kodi users. However, as its a while ago, I may be wrong.

Beta 1, Beta 1 released.
If I watch something via wrapper, then Kodi close itself.
If I watch something via Kodi, frame rate doesn't change.

Start with Beta 1 Kodi 18 have broken again Joystick Support, please enable Joystick Support before to upgrade to  Kodi 18 Beta 2
This bug is was present on  some nightly build of Kodi 17.5
http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2463.msg20199#msg20199
Maybe someone know to reconfigure Joystick  buttons on Kodi 18 Beta 2 and make remote to work as normal.

Thank you pcristi!!! That fixed it. I now have last night's build for Kodi 18 beta 3 working on my Q10 without crashing  :).

Lea beta 2 as well as the latest nightly still crash when using an external player.
That bug is known for a while and still not fixed - could take a while bc android is not a priority for their dev team.

So anytime you start a video which uses the wrapper, Kodi will crash instantly.

Leia is still not usable on Q10 Pro.

Leia beta 1 is barely usable with wrapper.
I can play the file but Kodi closes itself after that.
Beta 2 closes itself at main screen.

Patch Kodi joystick support proper fix for all HiMedia ORG/CFW/ATV Android 7 FW

1. Download patch_Kodi_joystick_support_proper_fix.zip from mediafire
2. Rename patch_Kodi_joystick_support_proper_fix.zip to update.zip
3. Copy to root on USB pen flash
4. Connect USB pen flash to HiMedia box running Android 7
5. Apply via menu System upgrade....

Enjoy Kodi 17.x/18.0 with joystick support enable/disable.
