Blinking red light on IR remote
« on: November 04, 2015, 12:32:12 AM »
Hi all,

I bought a Q5 4K3D two weeks ago but I've a very large problem: usually after a few minutes I turn on my smartbox, the red light on the top left corner of my IR remote starts to blink and then all the buttons stop working.

So the only chance I have is remove the batteries from the IR remote and turn off the smart box: sometimes when I reinsert the batteries and turn on the smartbox, it restarts to work. Other times the red light starts immediately blinking again andI have to stop using the smartbox.

Is there anybody who can help me to solve this issue please?

I have just installed latest Q5 firmware.

Thank in advance for a your feedback

This sounds like a hardware fault with the remote.

You'll need to contact the retailer that sold it to you. If that's us then mail@futeko.com.

I bought it on Amazon.it: so do you suggest me to contact them in order to return my box?

Thanks, regards!

We sell on Amazon Italy so you still might have bought it from us.

Yes I recommend contacting the retailer. It's a hardware fault that can't be fixed other than by replacing the remote.
