HiMedia Player:
For example, if I press continuously the right arrow navigation key on the IR remote control the cursor on the time line does not always move continuously.
Sometimes (very rare) it works as expected, most of the time I have to press the right arrow navigation key 40 times (to go in small steps per key press) 30 minutes further in time.

I know that the new replay time is only used/refreshed some 100 milliseconds after I release the key.
The IR remote is not in mouse mode!
(Sorry for my English, I hope you understand the problem, this is hard to describe in a foreign-language.)

Do have other users the same experience or is my device defective?

@futeko.com: Can you please tell me if this is the normal behaviour or is my device defective?

I don't see this behaviour. It works normally (continuous forward/back) here.

What files? Played from where?

Is the remote working normally otherwise?

My configuration:
H8 octa is connected via HDMI to the AV-Receiver.
PlayBack Options are HDMI Output -> HDMI and 1080P24Hz -> ON.
Source come from NAS with SMB share.
Same configuration (AV-Receiver, NAS, Flatscreen TV) runs with an old AC Ryan mediaplayer since one year without any problems!
Reason to change to H8 octa: AC Ryan does not support 3D-Iso and the GUI is slow.

"What files": MKV or BD-Iso.

The remote else seems to work correct. Batteries are new and full (checked by voltmeter with light load) and the red LED on the remote is flickering uniform and continuously if a button is pressed.

It just works normally here, but I am using less demanding files.

This problem might also be cache related (the H8 is struggling to pre-load enough of the video to show smooth forward/backwards). The cache problem will be fixed in future firmware.
