Himedia Q5/Q10 support Blu-ray ISO full navigation menu
« on: May 25, 2018, 09:40:29 AM »
Hi, I'm looking for a Android TV box which support Blu-ray ISO full navigation menu. I have more home  Blu-ray videos saved in ISO images. . Unfortunately, not all TVboxes support Blu-ray ISO full navigation menu. Some support only Lite navigation menu, which is not the same. I bought Tanix X9 Pro and Kodi app opens my ISO file and go to full Blu-ray Menus. But when I select the  desired video from menu the video starts, but stops like a frozen image. Then I saved on Hard disk only video unpacked from ISO. Video is in m2ts video format. Video now plays smoothly. I have to say that in the Kodi  installed on Raspberry Pi 3 everything worked great.
Anyone who has Himedia Q5/Q10 has already been tested this?
Under Other Features it says: Support BD-ISO and 3D BD-ISO
BD rips in BDMV format and ISO are supported for playback. 3D BD-ISO rips are supported. All BD
support is via custom BD-Lite menus.
I'm not an expert and I do not know what that means. It supports full Blu-ray ISO menu navigations, or only supports  lite menus.
Thanks for the advices.
