Hello mates,please help me out if you can..My son rescently got this player but it has Android 4.4.2 and is it possible to update to 5.1 or 7.1....??

Q5/Q10 4K3D are Android 4.4 max, sorry.

If you're wanting to upgrade the firmware to use the latest Kodi then the only option is to install MyGica Media Centre which is equivalent to Kodi 17.6. Google is your friend.  :)
