Subtitles
« on: March 25, 2018, 08:29:25 AM »
Hi I got a Q5 pro in europe.

Regardless of subtitle source service, I either get "none" or some Chinese subtitles to download.
This is the same, both in Himedia player and Kodi.

I have upgraded to latest firmware from your site, it did not work in earlier version.
I have choosen English for GUI and Subtitles.

The subtitles download function in himediaplayer is broken. Himedia are aware of this and I hope they fix it.

In the meantime you can download subtitles using Kodi add-ons (it will deposit downloaded subs in the same folder as the movie as .srt files) or use one of the Android apps designed for sub downloading, e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sunnyappz.GetSubtitles&hl=en.

Um, Himedia has been "aware" of this for more than a year now lol. Don't get your hopes up. They ain't fixing it because they don't give a crap.
