Some video files not working in MediaCenter (HiMedia Player)
« on: March 19, 2018, 04:36:15 PM »
I really don't know why i can not open a standard avi files. I give you more information as follow:
Android version 7 - Official firmware installed 2.0.7 FUTEKO. HMD-2.0.7 2018-01-12.
Straight to the point if i try to open the video files ALIEN ( in the attached txt files there are format either video then audio) HiMedia Player say "VIDEO PROBLEM" and does not go on.  ???
I'm using the wrapper so if I do the same using Kodi, i have the same result (not opening - video problem)
FURTHER MORE
I can not open DVD... I explain better:
I put all the files (simply copied) of a dvd ( i mean .vob and so on ) on an external disk (i.e.: \\DELOCLOUD\Public\FILMS\MATRIX (1999)   OR  \\DELOCLOUD\Public\FILMS\The Bourne Ultimatum ). kODI recognize the movie but as soon as i lunch it i have the same error descrived before.
If i use himedia Player and i try to open a SINGLE vob files it works  ::)
Thanks to anybody for your help.
Ciao
Lorenzo

The SD video playback fail is a new issue with 2.0.7 firmware. Needs to be fixed by HiMedia.

OP: You can try FW 2.0.6. It plays many kinds of SD videos OK for me.
