FPS Problems since 2.0.7 (23.976, HDR, 4k)

Hi all,

I use my Q10 Pro only for 4k HDR Content.

Since upgrading to 2.0.7 (I think it was 2.0.1 befor, but not sure), it looks like the Movies running in low FPS, its not really smooth.
I've enabled 24hz Option, but same Problem. I use the Wrapper Player with Kodi. But with Himedia Player directly I have the same Problem.

My TV Shows that there comes 4k with HDR over HDMI, so there is no Problem.
Here are some facts of one sample mkv File, with this Problem:

Video-Bitrate....: 58.0 Mbps
Resolution.......: 3840x2160
FPS..............: 23.976
Colour.Primaries.: BT.2020
BitDepth.........: 10 bits
ChromaSubsampling: 4:2:0 (Type 2)

Any Idea?

Press your TV's and/or AVRs Info button and see what input Hz it displays. It should be 23.97Hz or 24Hz or 23p/24p (differs by TV models).

Do you have micro-stutters in playback (noticeable glitchy jittering in movement sometimes)? Or it just seams overall slower?

So you have any audio slip compared to the video (like out-of-sync lip movement and speech)?

I Will try to check the info later, but I think my TV does not show the hz :\
//EDIT: My TV says "24p", I think thats what we are searching for. The receiver gives me just Info about the sound.

In Camera movements it loooks like jittering and fast actions scenes look like they have not enough frames.
Compared to Netflix HDR - Netflix is much more smooth :\

The Audio is in sync, there is no Problem. (Denon AVR 6200)
The Video Setting on Himedia is btw set to HDR Auto and 422 10bit

Upgraded from 2.0.5 to 2.0.7 and can confirm there is a frame rate issue with 2.0.7. Was watching a BD (1080p) movie last night with my friends and there are frequent "slow motion" moments. It's like a very short slow motion effect, I reported them earlier in this post http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2712.0.

With 2.0.7 they are happening very frequent and also with 1080p material, my guess would be every 30 seconds.
This is not a frame rate missmatch like you see with 23.976 fps material played at 24.0 fps, it happens randomly.

 Dirty flashed to 2.0.6 and the issue is gone.

I'm very sensitive to frame rate issues, could be that others are not seeing this. I was noticing it when watching with some friends and I had to point it to them.

Maybe other process running on yours NAS in a same time. Did you check if NAS is not overloaded(CPU/Disc/Network) when "slow motion" appears?

I'm playing files from my PC, checked it during the slowdowns and there was no significant load. Normally with 1080p material I never have issues, the only occasional slowdowns I had (with pre 2.0.7 FW) were with high bitrate 4k files.

When I flashed from 2.0.7 back to 2.0.6 the slowdowns were immediately gone.

I will report this to Himedia, but it's hard to replicate so will be difficult for them to do anything about.

Thank you, I'm surprised no one except me and the TS are seeing this.  Will stay on 2.0.6 for the time being.

Its only when the box output is set in 1080p. Maybe its because of the framerate switcher patch.
