Okay, granted, I'm an idiot. That, plus one should never attempt a system upgrade at around 2am local time. After upgrading with the Q5 Pro file, the device info screen now reports the model number as Q5 Pro, the Android version as 7.0, the kernel version as 3.18.24 and the build number as HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-07.142542. I've tried to upgrade the system with the correct Q10 Pro file (the one labeled HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.191425 which is the L to N version), with no success. The upgrade processes, but the device info screen stays the same. I've tried both the settings upgrade and the recovery mode upgrade with this file.
I've not tried to upgrade using the N to N file (the one labeled HMD-2.0.6 2017-10-25.164125) which, if I'm reading this correctly indicates a firmware rev. level of 2.0.6 and a more recent build date, nor have I tried to downgrade the firmware to the 5.1 1 version, so there are a number of things I could try, but my father always said that when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
Therefore, I'm looking for some advice on how I should proceed to try to get my Q10 Pro to recognize that it really is a Q10 Pro, and so that the time of day shows up on the system display screen, among other things.
