Important question for Futeko and/or Pcristi
« on: December 08, 2017, 07:45:04 PM »
Q10 Player I have from the very beginning,is experimenting with him quite strongly.I install all available software, patches, improvements with a better or worse result.
Recently I have the impression that Q10 recedes into the background. Is this the end of support and improvement?I have the impression that the manufacturer stated that q10 is a perfect equipment... Maybe the custom software will develop further? For now I see a downtime, and I'm worried about further development.

There is no new chipset coming in 2018, and that is what drives product obsolescence in this industry.

For this reason, HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro development will continue, and will continue longer than previous product generations. There may be new products, but they'll be based on the same chipset generation as Q5/Q10 Pro and hence will benefit from ongoing development by HiSilicon and HiMedia.
