Using LG Magic Remote with Q10 Pro possible?
« on: December 04, 2017, 08:42:07 PM »
With my new tv came this beauty:
http://www.lg.com/us/tv-audio-video-accessories/lg-AN-MR650A-magic-remote
Since it can be used like a Wii mote/Airmouse and also as a regular remote, it would be perfect to control Q10 Pro/KODI with it.
Is it possible to use this remote with Q10 Pro?

If not supported "natively", could a Flirc help?
https://www.amazon.com/FLIRC-Generation-Universal-Control-Receiver/dp/B01MS2V7GM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1512420068&sr=8-1&keywords=flirc

Any help is appreciated.

The airmouse doesn't use IR , it uses RF, Bluetooth or other wireless technology so that adapter won't work for the airmouse but probably work with the buttons.
Cheaper than that you can buy a Rii MX3 or other airmouse, anyway you couldn't use that remote for your tv and the Q10 simultaneously.

I have this "SMART" remote/airmouse for my TV: http://cdn1.expertreviews.co.uk/sites/expertreviews/files/4/47//samsung_h6400_4.jpg?itok=pMHu4GfM, but never thought it could be really used to the HiMedia Box. Tho' I guess it's using Bluetooth, and so does the Box, but it's communication is rather more "special" that this...  Would be great tho', but I guess it's just wouldn't work anyhow.
