Has anyone checked whether this problem has been solved with the latest firmware 2.0.7?

Thank you

Thank you for the confirmation.
I do not understand why they do not want to fix this bug.

Hope to fix in next firware update.
Maybe in 2.0.8 version?  :o

Otherwise can we do a downgrade?

What is the latest android 7 firmware version without this bug?

Many thanks  ;)

Good morning
I would like to upgrade to FWC 2.0.8, and ask if the patch (http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2576.msg21706#msg21706)
still works on this version.  :-\

Thank you

Good morning
Also in version 2.1.4 the problem remains, in particular I was noticing that even the aspect ratio 4/3 is slightly distorted.
I enclose video, made with smartphone, sorry for the cormatic quality.

So you say that 4:3 aspect distorsion is new with 2.1.4 and wasn't present earlier? I'ts essential for me, I have many PAL 4:3 videos and DVD's...

It was also present previously, but the problem of the 16: 9 pal aspect ratio was not present to the 2.0.4 firmware from which I updated to 2.1.4

Note the difference between a 4: 3 @ 720x576 and a 4: 3 @ 1280x720 (upscaled)
In the Upscaled (1280x720) the correct aspect ratio is maintained

In my opinion the HiMedia firmware recognizes the 720x576 format as a proportion of 1.25 and not 1.34.
However, in the 720x576 (1.25) or 720x480 (1.5) format there is distortion in the aspect ratio.

From where did you get these test patterns? I will want to have a run on 2.1.1.

@DMD

Are not HiMedia FW witch read SAR from file.
Old player from v2.0.4 is was just more convenient playing all 720x576 as default in full screen(16:9).

Sorry if I answer you in this hour, I work shifts.
I send you the various Pattern Test files, so you can verify the correct aspect ratio.

Thanks. I've tested the two 4:3 pattern on PC with MPCHC and get the same visual result as on your video:

The first is the Pattern Test 4.3 1280x720 upscaled 25 fps.mp4 and the second is the Pattern Test 4.3 720x576 25 fps.mkv:

I can see a slight vertical distorsion in the 720x576 video, wheres the circle not perfectly round, rather a bit squeezed. So i must guess the video is being this way and not the fault of the player? Have you tried with other players/Boxes or with PC?
