HiMedia and Egreat have all the relevant CE/ROHS/FCC test certificates for their products. In HiMedia's case issued by a testing laboratory in Germany.
Specifically relating to the UK market, all our products ship with a fused semi-permanent UK 3-pin adapter meeting BS136 standards. There are many products sold even on the UK high street with non-fused UK PSUs which are illegal and potentially dangerous with typical UK ring-circuit wiring. My guess is that many of the products mentioned in the article failed UK safety testing for this reason.
