Disabling Updates
« on: September 23, 2017, 03:19:21 PM »
I have reverted my Egreat A5 to FW 1.1.0.7 because of the stuttering on DVD ISO and at present they are playing a lot better.

What I need to know now is how do I disable updates until Egreat have sorted the problem out. The player has already updated itself because I pressed the wrong button once. Each time I switch it on I get the update screen but the buttons at the bottom that allow you cancel or continue are missing and I believe there was a box that could be ticked which allowed the update to not be shown again, this is also missing.

Just to up date everyone.

I have now force updated my FW to 1.1.2.0. This is also stable and stutter free on DVD ISO's.

I now have the option back to ignore further updates until I am sure they have no problems by ticking the small box on the bottom of the page on the update screen on start up and then cancelling the update.

The Egreat A5 now does what I want it to do so why bother updating.
