Is it worth upgrading the basic HDMI cables you get with the A5 to better ones like A11
They work or they don't as with all digital communication. A perfectly working setup won't get better pictures/sound with better cables as analog audio/video does.
The higher the signal rates and the longer the cable length the more pressure on the cable quality requirement. Using better quality cables is never wrong but may not be noticeable. Price is not synonymous for quality either. There are many stories about cables and their prices/qualities.
