The Q10 has more external ports, external wifi antenna, an internal cooling fan, and touch buttons on the front.

The core hardware (chipset/RAM etc) is the same.

Hi frankie13

The one to buy rest largely on where you store your movies.!!

if you intend to stream either wireless or LAN then the Q5 is ideal, however if you are to store files locally to the media player the Q10 is the best option but you will need to buy a new Drive to put into the Q10...so even more cost (unless you already have a drive at hand).

You can also add a drive locally to both the Q5 and Q10 by using the USB option....hope this helps

There are not stuttering ,only same audio drop random(only 1-2 during playback film ).
3D ghosting is only for some film some 3d glasses ,it's not a bug.

myself I have both the Q10 (Home cinny room) and a M3 (for the living room TV) and find them to be excellent boxes with very good build quality and a steady update rollout in fact recent firmware updates have added the superb Mediawrapper that allows the internal player to play movies when using Kodi.   Some issues/problems can come from the video source themselves and the people at Himedia do seem committed to constantly improve the boxes further in the future.
I myself do have a 3D issue but because I watch 90% non 3d movies it doesn't concern me too much I am sure this issue will be solved soon ...also my 3D issue could be down to my own setup that's wrong (or faulty).

I went to the Cinema recently to watch the Hobit in 3D and even they had 3D Ghosting so for the price I think they are very good boxes.

unfortunely audio dropout are random and very annoying...but when appears....arent just 1 or 2 in the movie....(maybe 20/30 in whole movie....even if are really little you can hear...)
there are enough for disturb watching...... :(

do you have try different HDMI cable?

ive tried with 2 cables....the one in the box (i think best.....1.4a complain and another 1.3b cable....) same problem....
stuttering/audio dropout....completely random....sometimes never happens sometimes happens.....but i think im not the only one ;)
if you want looun, ill post a youtube video when i watch a movie with this problems.... just to understand....repeat ,not often ,but sometimes happens...(strange thing is ,ive tried with mxplayer paid version.....probably the best android mediaplayer....and happens the same problems....so the have to patch firmware.....if until 1.07 works fine ;) )
