Himedia q5 pro Power Control has stopped
« on: June 25, 2017, 05:58:08 AM »

My few weeks old Himedia q5 pro suddenly stop  working.  The display shows "Unfortunately, Power Control has stopped."
No response in any command from the remote control,  the error stuck on the tv display. Pushed the reset button on the back but
 no success.

Any help  to solve the problem is highly appreciated.

   Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that error specifically, but the way to get the box working again is to reinstall firmware. See the stickied firmware threads on this forum.

I suggest waiting for the new Android 7 firmware due later this week.

Problem was solved by re-installing the firmware.

   Thanks a lot.
