MINIX U9!!!  because ALL products based on hisilicon chip (like q5/q10/egreat) cannot play 4K movies with HDR metadata correctly (hisilicon says hardware problem so impossible to solve with a sw update) HDR10 is mandatory for uhd movies so...MINIX U9 100% (could be compatible with dolby vision too!)
Bye

U9 isn't like a "generic" 50 euro box eheh, minix has an highly optimized kodi custom version and get fast sw upgrade for bugs correction monthly (if not daily sometimes!)

I've had a good run with Himedia but HDR issues and native player drama is getting too much. I don't care about Netflix 4k have a so y Android TV which has Netflix running in 4k HDR so main usage is Kodi with perfect passthrough and HDR correct lighting and auto resolution switching. I think Himedia should move to amlogic too

Himedia have now got an amlogic device; their new A5.

I'm waiting for firmware improvements.
If negative. I'll put a big X on android players switching to Windows 10 ones!

Himedia Q10 Pro plays HDR 4K movies pretty well. Not sure what you're talking about!
