Netflix HD?

Hi Guys,

I have a lot of interest in the Himedia Q5 mediaplayer i.c.w. Kodi en Netlfix but 1 question I have cannot find the answer: Is it possible to play HD Netflix or is it only SD

I want to order this player but without HD Netflix I will not buy it.

Q5 not support very well kodi addon ,so you can use only Netflix android APP.
The problem is Netflix android APP not support 24/23.976hz out if i'm not in wrong.
Same problem nvidia schield

I know I must use the Android app so that's not the problem I only want to know if the app outputs HD or only SD.
For me it doesn't matter if it is HD @ 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 24 Hz

The standard Netflix Android app always outputs in SD. On all Android platforms. 480p.

It's a Netflix problem. By limiting their HD service to certain platforms (e.g. Apple / Google) it gives them some influence over the hardware providers. I doubt it will change.

unless an Android device is Google Widevine Level 1 certified, 720x480p is the Max resolution.

There are a whole bunch of detailed specific requirements, training etc that needs to be met as well to get certified.

On europe streaming web provider  become more and with good service.
