+1 Write me on the list, but I guess that's true to everyone who's using KODI+Wrapper with these devices.
As mentioned before me, it would be more complicated to solve. Some other brands have their devices with their own modified KODI fork and been removed the annoying pop-up for user requests. Sadly, Himedia has chosen the more easy way and we need to stuck with the default KODI versions.
Tho' it may not seems to be a big issue, but regarding the comfortability, the overall user experience and most importantly the sake of our TV's screen protection it would rather count.
Could try to post this request to the official KODI developers, to add an option to switch off this "behavior", but I don't think it would do much impact.
The best would be a full 16.1 and a 17 KODI version, with nothing else modified, changed or added than just the removal of this pop-up. (I don't think it could be solved with just installing a patch.)
FTMC would be great, but I have read that it has compatibility issues and crashes with some add-ons. :
