Otherwise user and potenttial user will use another app  even another brand.

Subtitles are not getting downloaded within KODI,
Is there a way i can make Kodi download the subtitles.. This was a never a problem in 5.1 .. Post upgrading the 7, i am not able to acheive the same.

Fw 2.0.5, Himedia player is still mostly  shows subtitles found (0)   
Hopefully next FW , Himedia will solve this important feature problem.

Do you even know where the Wrapper/Himedia player gets them from? Why don't you get them manually from OpenSubtitles or a local site? The quality of any downloaded subtitles (in Romanian, my native language) is mostly at 50%. Just my 0.02 euro cents It may be convenient, but I prefer to get very good quality subtitles, not just any subtitles. This feature was a hit and miss from the start.

It is better if we can get the subs from himedia video player itself.
It used to work good before until opensubs.org changed the API. Hopefully Himedia will update to use proper opensubs.org' API.
