It is competing with boxes made by Zappiti and Zidoo based on the RTD1295DD SOC. Both brands have production or Beta versions out with similar functionalities including Full BD Menu and Movie Poster System capabilities. It is not unique today as claimed here.
Ordered an Egreat A10 (status shipped) myself and do own a Zidoo X9S which is very simular to the A5. The new Zidoo X10 is more comparable with an A10.
The A10 offers Dual Band ac Wi-Fi , Internal HDD and 16 GByte Flash avoiding most of the A5 weaknesses mentioned in your review. But its price tag is considerable higher.
