Kodi 17 Resolution
« on: February 24, 2017, 02:07:09 PM »
My Himedia 10 Pro fully updated to latest Android software is showing 1920x1080 resolution in the Kodi Settings menu and the value is  also greyed out even though it is connected to a Samsung SUHD TV (the Himedia player appears to be showing the correct resolution). My Himedia settings are 2160p 60Hz, and I have tried both Kodi using the wrapper and without but still no success with correct resolution. Any ideas?

I am also having a problem with both the Himedia player and Kodi player with one of my 2160p HR files which is showing the wrong aspect when playing, being full frame rather than letterbox eg. picture of earth egg shaped rather than round, I tried changing the settings between full frame and exit full frame in the Himedia player settings but no change (this file plays correctly in my samsung UHD bluray player) any suggestions?
