Passthrough is working in Kodi 17
DTS-HD, DTS-X, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby ATMOS passthrough are now supported on devices that implement AudioTrack v23 or higher. Devices with firmware that does not follow this standard will not support passthrough.

So HiMedia must update the firmware for the Q10 Pro and Q5 Pro!

Its a problem of Android NOT from KODI17. KODI17 y working with perfect audio HD passtrough under android 5.1.1 firmware 1.09 that i have installed.

I'm assuming you're using the wrapper that is enabled by default though?

As kodi 17 doesn't allow pass through on many peoples q5/q10 pro without that mod (which has its limitations for streaming adding like YouTube etc) on my box with the 1.0.9 firmware.

Waiting on the update to be compliant with audiotrack v23 but haven't seen any confirmation of this yet.
