Background picture change ???

I want to edit/change the background images in Kodi on Q10 Pro. In settings background, use external device ok Kodi sees the images but does not display them correctly, just a funny black screen with white things on them. If i do the same on my MacBook Pro same Version of Kodi, Same images they work ok.
Any thoughts anyone. I am using XXXXXX build of Kodi on both devices. Images are JPG at 1920x1080 resolution.

This may well be a problem specific to the build of Kodi you're using and Android. I suggest contacting them..
