Go into Settings - Display (if I am not mistaken) and uncheck/check the setting that says VFD something (I am not at home right now). It will enable and disable the LCD. The Q10 Pro has to have active Internet connection to get the clock, otherwise it will display a sort of a timer, starting since boot.

It is normal to show "boot" at restart. It will show the time as soon as it gets it from the Internet. The LCD will show how much of the movie you have seen only when using Kodi+Wrapper or the HiMedia player (which is what Kodi is using when calling the Wrapper).

Ok, my bad. Try a fresh install, reset everything and recheck. I do not have any other idea.

Did you definitely install the correct downgrade firmware?

if you installed the downgrade firmware for q5 pro on q10 pro or vice versa you may get lcd problems (amongst other things - please don't try it).

I would recommend upgrading to 1.0.9 with correct firmware and seeing if that fixes the lcd.

You don't say whether you have Q5 or Q10 Pro so:
