Yes...  :D

RiCo97 from 4pda.ru/forum:

"The Chinese have made it clear that work on the implementation of full bd menu. In Vietnam, they have some kind of exclusive representation, so they are the first test this function (menu bd)"(google tranlsate).

I have an official position from HiMedia on this.

The BD menu firmware that the Vietnamese site showed images from is a hacked version of firmware 1.0.8. It's nothing to do with HiMedia.

HiMedia are working on BD menus but the implementation will not be based on or related to this hack.

Saying that, HiMedia were kind enough to point me to the download link for the hacked 1.0.8 BD menu firmware. It's a Baidu link so not that easy to download, sorry. We won't be mirroring it for legal reasons.

When do they expect to have this implemented?
Will it support BDMV folder as well?

On 4pda ?????????? HiMedia Q10 PRO on stick post click on ????????.
Note: Is not official HiMedia f/w, is just prove BD Menu exist in other HiSilicon device and can be implemented on HiMedia box too, not for daily use.

Hi guys
I wrote yesterday to Himedia directly and asked if the complete BluRay menu will come to the Q10 and Q5.

Here is my question:

Dear Sir or Madam,
I have a Himedia Q10 per mediaplayer.
In the Futeco forum I read. The Blu-ray BluRay menu.
Is this true, and if so, how long will it take?
The competition Egreat and Zidoo are already in the process.
I would be very grateful for a quick reply.

Greetings

Here's the answer that came a day later:

Peter
we are tuning it, which need a little more days,   we will work it out

Hopefully

If Himedia can provide Full BD menu it is good for marketing perspective. As the competitors have it.

HiMedia have BD ISO support, just not full menus.

The reason they don't have full menus is a mixture of licensing and the lack of implementation by chipset provider.

The good news is that I expect BD ISO full menus to come to Q5/Q10 Pro ~ late September.
