« on: December 18, 2016, 08:14:59 PM »
When I install google maps application, the box wont turn off, the hour is still here and power led is white but if I uninstall it the problem is gone ...
Also, how to zoom out on maps ? I have this remote : http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=278842 and zoom keys doesnt work with the app and in chrome
I tried on both "Ctrl + Plus" and "Ctrl + Minus" and "Menu + I" and "Menu + O" and just "Plus" and "Minus" shortcuts, none of them worked
The zoom control is not displayed  :-\

To zoom in/out on Google Maps Android app with mouse you can double click on the map and then drag up/down.

The power LED problem may be Google location services related. If high-accuracy (GPS) is enabled it crashes location services (Q5/Q10 Pro contain no GPS chip). Location settings themselves are hard (possibly impossible) to access if high-accuracy location has been turned on. This bug has been reported to HiMedia, it needs settings changing so the possibility to enable GPS is disabled.

Disable GPS?

I was hoping to add GPS via bluetooth to a G10 so it could be used in a car.

I mean disable the option when there is no GPS device attached (as the box is shipped).

I don't know for sure whether any USB GPS dongles would work with Q5/Q10 Pro. It's not been tested.

I'll let you guys know in due course about the gps, I received my q10 pro today, need to settle down with it and load up my hard drive etc.

Hello, I'm back ! sorry for this week I wasn't there and happy holidays futeko.com and others !  ;D
I saw a new firmware 1.0.9 that's good so is the problem fixed in it ? it's wrote on changes "Freeze and unable to shut off on some conditions issue fixed" ?
If yes (I hope), will it be also on upcoming android 7 firmware ?
Thanx

The problem you describe was uncommon and particular to your setup so it's unlikely it's been tested by others.

The new firmware does indicate a fix relating to shutting down so it may fix your problem. The best way to find out is to test.

Where relevant. fixes from 1.0.9 will also appear in Android 7 firmware, so it's likely next Android 7 FW will have this fix.
