@Futeko
Have you personally tried it?
Call me lazy but I am not willing to brick my Q10 if this is not 100% safe.
It's not a matter of being comfortable doing this procedure but I'd rather not try it at all if you don't give some form of guarantee that this won't have any negative impact on the Q10's core features.
Is this just a launcher, as in, it just serves as a form of GUI? It's not a firmware right? It won't replace firmware 2.0 and won't prevent deploying the future Q10 firmware?
Installing it will replace the Google Play Store with the Android TV one?
I would also appreciate if we could get a better step by step tutorial on how to install it . The one on the German forums seems to be translated from German so I am not too keen on basing my installation on it...
Thanks!
Yes I've tried it but my advice would be to not install it if you're not comfortable with the install and uninstall process.
It's a launcher and replacement Play Store, but to install it requires additional system changes. You can still use standard Q5/Q10 Pro launcher after installation (in fact, just press the '3D' button on remote to see standard launcher - you don't even have to reset default launcher preference).
You can install normal Q5/Q10 Pro firmware to start from scratch.
But, we don't vouch for it, it's not official (either from us or Himedia), and it's at your own risk.
